Hi my name is Melanie and I am 9 years old. I live in New Mexico. I went to Once Upon a Time day camp over my spring break. IT WAS REALLY FUN!!! My favorite part was changing our puppet show into a real play and performing it. It made me feel really good that I could act in front of a lot of people and not be too scared. It made me feel really GOOD. I was proud of myself.
I also liked to make new friends. The leaders were very nice and I want to work with them again.
At the end of March, Marian and Liz visited the “Once Upon a Time…” uniquely ME! day camp at the Girl Scouts of Chaparral Council. In one week, groups of girls wrote and performed puppet shows and skits in front of their families and friends. They worked hard each day and learned about theatre, being strong, stress and healthy snacks, plus a whole lot more! We had a fun time watching the girls perform.
